Uniform

The school colours are red and white and we have a uniform which we encourage our children to wear.

For girls – grey or black skirts, trousers or pinafore, white polo shirt, red sweatshirt or cardigan, black shoes, red and white dress in the summer months. PE kit: black shorts, red T-shirt, socks, daps or trainers, in a named bag. Black joggers can be worn in cold weather.

Swimming kit: costume, goggles, hat, towel.

For boys – grey or black long or short trousers, white polo shirt, red sweatshirt, black shoes.

PE kit: black shorts, red T-shirt, socks, daps or trainers, in a named bag. Black joggers can be worn in cold weather.

Swimming kit: trunks, goggles, towel.

We do expect children to look smart for school and would appreciate your cooperation with this. We ask that all clothes worn are appropriate and suitable for school activities. Both boys and girls should wear flat, durable black school shoes. Trainers should not be worn except for during P.E. Sandals may be worn in hot weather but should not be open toed and should be worn with socks, please.

Children’s hair should be styled or cut so that it does not interfere with school activities. Long hair should be tied back. Hairbands and clips should be suitably smart for school, i.e. not too ornate.

Both boys and girls are encouraged to wear caps outside in sunny weather. School fleeces are available for extra warmth outside in chilly weather, but we prefer the children not to wear fleeces in the classrooms.

Jewellery

Plain ear studs are the only form of jewellery allowed.  These should be removed for swimming sessions and PE.

Nails

Nails should be kept clean and short. Nail varnish is not permitted.
