Admissions Information

As well as providing education to children who live in the village, we also welcome many children and families from further afield, such as Tytherington and Yate to our school family.

Reception year

The school has 10 places available in Reception.

In South Gloucestershire, children start school in Reception Class in the September before their fifth birthday.

If your child was born between 1 September and 31 August they will start primary school in September after they turn 4.

Applications are completed between September and January online Reception online school application.

The closing date for Reception year applications can be found on South Gloucestershire Council website HERE.

Offers of a school place will be made to parents/carers in April, either via the online system if you have applied online, or by post sent, if you downloaded an application form.

In-year admissions

In-year admissions allow parents to apply for school places at any time during the school year.
