Admissions Information

As well as providing education to children who live in the village, we also welcome many children and families from further afield such as Tytherington and Yate to our school family.

If you would like to come and look around the school at any time, please give us a ring and we would be happy to show you around.

Reception year

The school has 10 places available in Reception.

In South Gloucestershire, children start school in Reception Class in the September before their fifth birthday.

If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 they will start primary school in September 2025.

Applications are completed between September and January online HERE

The closing date for Reception year applications is 15th January 2025.

Offers of a school place will be made to parents/carers in April 2025, either via the online system if you have applied online, or by post sent, if you downloaded an application form.

In-year admissions

If you wish to apply for a place other than at the start of the Reception year, you will also need to complete a form and return to South Gloucestershire Council who will check with us to see if we have any spaces in the year group(s) you are looking for. Please feel free to call us first to find out if we have spaces in the Year group you are interested in.
