About the School

At a glance

  • A breakfast club runs from 8 a.m. every morning where children can eat breakfast and take part in a range of different activities
  • After school provision is available with a mini-bus which takes children to Barnwood Buddies for after school care
  • A wide range of after school clubs are available including multi-sports, dance and drama, fencing, ukulele, netball and gardening clubs
  • Children take part in music lessons learning the guitar, violin and recorder
  • Children in KS2 go swimming and use the large indoor sports facilities at the nearby leisure centre during terms 3 and 4
  • Children in Years 5 and 6 go on residential trips • We have very good links with the local church and community
  • Our School Association raises thousands of pounds each year to support the school
  • We regularly attend worship in Holy Trinity Church, including at Harvest, Christmas and Easter
  • We put on an ambitious performance each Summer, including Shakespeare
  • Children in KS2 are taught Spanish by a native Spanish speaker
